Our first project as property owners, rather than lenders. We have been on the search for a suitable project for a long time and were delighted to finally get the opportunity to purchase this terraced house in Wimbledon. The house had been owned by the same family since 1941 and the inside of the property is something of a 1950's timewarp, with beautiful period features everywhere, especially the woodwork, all of which was hand crafted by the previous owner. We plan to update and extend the property, making it suitable for family living, but without losing the charm and period features that are already in place. This is an ideal opportunity for us to gain some real insight into the details of managing a project like this, with a view to bringing this experience to our core lending business.
