A site visit to the Wimbledon Mews project. We originally provided a bridging loan for this back in the summer of 2018, when the site was an old car showroom. Our bridging loan enabled the developer to purchase the site and go through the planning process to convert the site to residential use. Once planning was granted, we refinanced the project onto a development loan to enable the building of nine flats over three floors. This is pretty much complete now, bar a few more weeks of tidying up and interior fit-out. The utility services are mostly in now, kitchens are fitted, several of the units are painted and have carpets down and the developer has already accepted offers on several of the flats. We'll probably visit once more but this project is now well on its way to a successful completion.
