Time for a final visit to this project, which we have been involved in since June 2018, initially via a bridging loan to enable the purchase of the site, and then a development loan once planning permission had been obtained to convert the site from an old car showroom to nine 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. The project has been well-documented in these pages, and has presented its fair share of technical challenges, mostly around the narrow access to the site and the excavation and removal of vast amounts of material to create the basement floors to the apartments. Despite the challenges, the project has delivered all it promised, within budget, and now goes to the market. Several of the units are already under offer and there is significant interest in the others. There is still a small amount of work left to do, but our involvement can now draw to a close. This has been a fascinating project to be involved with and it is a pleasure to see it draw to a successful conclusion.
