Back down to Berkshire for a look at the renovation and extension of the cottage that we provided a Bridging and Development loan to back in April. Over the summer the developer successfully gained planning permission to approximately double the floorspace of the cottage, extending both to the side and rear of the original property and removing the separate garage block. Work has been underway for the last 5 weeks and we dropped in to take a look. The foundations are complete, the blockwork is going up fast and the original property is in the process of being stripped back. The last of the RSJs was being installed as we visited and work is proceeding nicely. We'll be back towards the end of the year for another look.
